I did try it again with less 480grams and again awful result scummy and less than 0.5 ml !!
The room smelt amazing and the distillate was more what you would produce as hydrosol and definitely contained some EO – amazing smell and lovely cloudy look.
I think this proves your point that a lot is dropping back into the pot ?
I am away at the moment so will get a photo of the leaves and send it to you. I know these leaves are Eucalyptus Globulus and are used for Koalas, as The Australian Zoo collects from this farm.
is strange though as I believe the EO percentage should be 1 – 3 %
