Follow your nose through our collections of perfume accords, and build your own personalised scent.

The Scent Trail is a collection of 60 curated perfume accords that follow two distinct paths.

The Vines trail has 30 accords that follow the classic aromatic profiles of red and white wine (from zesty green mandarin and dark berry cassis to toasted oak and aged leather).

The Motu path’s 30 accords map the scents of the island itself, through bush, land and sea.

Choose the path you’d most like to explore and then move at your own pace through our collection of top, middle and base notes to build your own scent. You’ll be guided by a Lab host who will help you blend your personalised perfume memory of your time on Waiheke.

For lovers of wine, scent and Waiheke Island. Create and bottle a memory of your visit to take home.

Description

Here are the steps:

Choose a path, either ‘Vines’ or ‘Motu’
Follow your nose and familiarise yourself with our accords
Choose a theme or idea for your scent (we’re happy to help)
Pick up your kit of test strips and choose your favourites 3 base – 3 middle – 3 top
Formulate your scent following our simple instructions
Sample and make final adjustments
Bottle and label your 30ml personalised scent, ready to take home.

Get in touch and let us know when you’d like to come in and we can ensure we have staff on hand to guide you. We encourage bookings for groups of 4 and over.

Walk-ins are welcome, but are subject to availability.
